On the road in the Pacific Northwest . . .
ESSENCE?
It takes 20 kilos of milk
to make one of cream,
40 of maple sap
to make one of syrup.
But how many years must we
boil down for but one poem?
We shape the world and the world shapes us.
Good people do bad things when forced to think
and move within inherently false and contradictory
systems.
One of the tasks of philosophy is to—without forcing—
pause the disharmonious movement and reconsider
the inconsistencies, possible wrong turns, possible
mistakes of direction.
Then, we push the reset button, step back into practice,
and hit play. But now, we hope:—no longer wasting,
the good.
THE WASTE OF GOOD . . .| If you're interested in philosophy and the general background
to the present crisis of perception, culture and consciousness,
