CLIFF CEGO | Snow-wind Flowforms

Snow-wind Flowforms, South Wallowas . . . [click photo for next . . . ]

Trying to break trail on light cross-country skis through a
miraculous but arduous landscape of wind-sculpted snow.
Drifts to two meters, with wind-sintered, uniform snow
crystals as hard as rock—

On the road in the Northwest of America.

Form emerges out of movement;

it is the outward envelope

of the rhythmic pulse

of change.

Even the wildest of rivers

creates itself the boundaries of the bed

that order its flow.

WITHOUT

A world without light or
sound is thinkable,

but not a world
without:—

movement.
