Field of Golden Ragwort . . (Senecio
aureus) Native to North America. Like the Fleabane, a member
of the composite or Sunflower family. There are over a dozen species of Ragwort
(also called known
as groundsel or squaw-weed) which are part of the greater tallgrass
biome.
