(2) 17-steps: A reflection on the large number of relational resonances
among the elements of but a small set of movements
even a dance of
but 17 steps
each movement
beyond our grasp
a dance of
but 17 steps
count, and you trip;
don't count, and you fall
shape, time, frame, mind
but 17 steps
each move swings
the dance of the whole
a loop of mirrors of
but 17 steps
echoes reflecting
echoes
on the pool, waves
but 17 steps
the dance is over
when they break

(3) Evidently, a key feature of the religious mind is its need to move
freely with the relational resonances implicit in every produced or used
artifact, every thought, every action. The apple may indeed be beautiful,
but to ask how, where and by whom it was grown, is a quintessentially
religious question. Always: the part wishes to know how it fits within
the movement of the whole.
(4) A fractal symmetry
