Four Miniatures: Form; New Meaning; Fragmentation
of Music and Poetry; Security

(1) Form emerges out of movement; it is the outward
envelope of the rhythmic pulse of life. The river creates
itself the boundaries of the bed that order and give
structure to its flow.

(2) New meaning necessitates new form. After drinking
from the source of a hundred mountain streams, even
the finest of wine glasses may no longer suffice.

(3) The only thing that's worse than the fragmentation of music
and poetry is when we in fragmentation try to unite them.

(4) Security?—begin with love of Earth;
Defense?, with needing little and wasting less;
Vigilance?—free of the guilt of hording and
fear of losing what is not rightfully one's own,
the eye sees everything it needs to know.
