PROTECTION! Teasel, leaf (Dipsaca fullonum). . .  Introduced from Eurasia
into North America. Invasive.
The v-cup shape of the leaves traps water, which
then traps & digests insects. Native to the Alps, where it has become uncommon; in North
America, it has in some areas become a problem weed.
