Rising Wolf, Monday Morning Bivi—East side of Glacier National Park. One of the joys
of moving my backpacking/climbing camp by bike is that I can set up a bivouac
with the movements of first and last light. (The word, bivouac, evidently comes
to us from the Swiss German, biwacht, used in the sense of 'additional guard
at night.' I like that. Keeping a nightwatch on the movement of light
across the land.

On the road in the North West.
